As part of the YMCA's response to the Victorian bushfire appeal, YMCA Victoria have thrown their support behind the collection of non-perishable food and personal care items. All YMCA branches in Victoria will accept items to be distributed to those in need through relief centres in Diamond Creek, Whittlesea and other centres as they are established in the coming days. Any donations of cash should be directed to Australian Red Cross on 1800 811 700 and large furniture items to the Salvation Army.
